MHC’s Annual Campout Returns!

When & Where: From 1:00pm Tuesday, September 10th overnight through 1:00pm Wednesday, September  11th at Birch Bay State Park

Cost: : $75 (financial aid provided if needed, contact Alyssa)

Camper Check In & Gear Drop: Monday, September 9th at 5:30pm

Required Items: bagged lunch, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, warm clothes, and personal items such as medications.

Accessibility: Campsites are ADA accessible! MHC staff can provide mobility support. If a participant requires additional support, please notify Alyssa that a one-on-one care provider will be attending with you.

Camping Sign Up: Due to popularity, priority will be given to first-time campers and the remaining spaces will be randomly drawn. If you are interested in attending, please fill out our registration form here:

Supply/Donation Needs: Have a spare tent, pop-up, or sleeping pad we can borrow? Please let us know. We’re looking for the following items to borrow (or a donation of the consumable items), including Tarps, tents, and pop-ups; sleeping pads and sleeping bags; hygiene products (biodegradable soap, feminine products); beanies and gloves; and firewood to have a proper campfire.

Where: Max Higbee Center
